Imran Khan as a Prime Minister

Imran Khan, the former cricketer-turned-politician, served as the 22nd Prime Minister of Pakistan from 2018 to 2022.

Known for his slogan of “Naya Pakistan”, he aimed to bring reforms in governance, economy, and social welfare.

His government launched projects like the Ehsaas Program for poverty reduction and the Sehat Card for free healthcare, which were widely appreciated.

He also focused on building a corruption-free system, promoting tourism, and raising Pakistan’s voice on international forums, especially regarding the Kashmir issue.

However, his tenure also faced challenges, including rising inflation, political opposition, and economic struggles.

Imran Khan’s leadership remains a debated chapter in Pakistan’s history — admired by many for his vision of change, yet criticized by others for unfulfilled promises. His time as Prime Minister left a strong impact on the country’s political landscape.
